Product Description

The Heavy Lifter That Doesn't Care If Your Loads Are Lopsided

You know the drill. You've got a workshop with a three-phase compressor, a well pump, and a few single-phase outlets scattered around. A standard three-phase inverter sees one phase pulling 80% and the other two idling, and it throws a fault or derates itself into uselessness. The Blus Star Series isn't that inverter. It's built from the ground up to deliver clean, pure sine wave power from 10kW right up to 40kW, and it handles the kind of messy, real-world loads that would trip up lesser machines.

Low DC Voltage, High Safety, Lower Battery Cost

One of the first things you'll notice is the DC input voltage. Even at these power levels, the Blus Star runs on low-voltage battery banks—typically 48V or 96V, depending on the model. That means you're not stacking dozens of cells in series and dealing with the specialized breakers and safety headaches that high-voltage DC systems demand. Fewer batteries in series also makes your bank easier to manage, cheaper to expand, and a lot less likely to give you a dangerous shock during maintenance. You still get all 40kW of grunt—just from a battery configuration that doesn't require an engineering degree to service.

Pure Sine Wave That Motors Actually Like

The output is a clean, utility-grade sine wave. Not a stepped approximation, not a modified square wave that makes fans buzz and transformers run hot. When a motor or a compressor fires up, the Blus Star pushes out up to three times its rated power for the surge—so that well pump or air conditioner compressor starts smoothly instead of stalling and tripping the inverter's protections. In a rural home or a farm, that alone is the difference between an inverter that works year-round and one that you're constantly resetting.

100% Imbalance: Put All the Load on One Phase, It Won't Flinch

Three-phase inverters usually expect you to distribute your loads evenly. The Blus Star doesn't care. Its output stage is designed so you can pull the full 40kW from a single phase if you need to, while the other two sit idle. That sounds extreme, but it happens—maybe you're running a big single-phase welder, or a bank of heaters, or a test bench that all happens to sit on L1. The inverter keeps the voltage stable across all three phases, and nothing complains. For mixed installations where the load changes throughout the day, that kind of tolerance eliminates the constant balancing act.

Charge Current You Can Dial In

The built-in AC charger is no trickle charger. You can adjust the charge current anywhere from 0 up to 45 amps, directly from the front panel. If you've got a big lithium bank that can soak up current fast, crank it up and get the batteries topped off during a short generator run. If you're nursing an older lead-acid bank, throttle it back to keep the cells cool and happy. The charger also lets you set absorption and float voltages, so it plays nicely with sealed lead-acid, gel, AGM, and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) without needing external controllers.

Wide LCD That Actually Tells You What's Happening

No tiny icons, no cryptic blinking lights. The front panel has a wide LCD screen that shows input voltage, output voltage, load percentage, battery level, and operating mode all at once. It's big enough to read from across a room, and the menus are laid out so you can change settings without digging for a manual. For a unit that might live in a dark utility room or a dusty workshop, that clarity matters.

Working Modes to Match Your Power Source

Not every site gets the same mix of grid, generator, and solar. The Blus Star lets you pick how it prioritizes power sources:

`DC Priority: Run from battery first, switching to AC input only when the battery drops to a set voltage. Ideal for off-grid systems or places where you want to use stored energy during peak rate hours.

`AC Priority: Pass grid or generator power through to the load and use the charger to keep the battery topped up. Switch to inverter only when the AC source fails. This is the classic backup mode.

`Hybrid Mode: The inverter blends solar, battery, and grid inputs intelligently, maximizing renewable self-consumption while always keeping the battery ready for a blackout.

You can change modes from the LCD, and the unit remembers your choice across power cycles. There's no rigid factory setting you're stuck with.

Generator Auto-Start and AVR Stabilization

If your battery bank gets low, the Blus Star can send a start signal to a standby generator via a dry contact. Once the generator is running and stable, the inverter accepts its power—even if the generator's voltage and frequency aren't perfect. A wide input window and built-in automatic voltage regulation (AVR) clean up the incoming power before it reaches your loads or the charger. That means your sensitive electronics see stable voltage, even when the generator governor is hunting.

Communications That Keep You in the Loop

You're not limited to a single monitoring method. The Blus Star offers RS232 and RS485 as standard, with options for SNMP, GSM remote alerts, and a smartphone app. Whether you want to check system status from the house, receive an SMS when the battery is low, or integrate the inverter into a building management system, there's a port for it. For remote telecom sites or unattended off-grid cabins, that connectivity turns a black box into something you can actually manage from a distance.

Optional Solar Charge Controller Built Right In

If you're planning to add solar—now or later—the Blus Star can be ordered with an integrated PWM or MPPT charge controller. That turns the inverter into a solar hybrid system without a separate charge controller box, extra wiring, or another set of breakers. Panels connect directly to the inverter, and the controller manages battery charging from solar alongside the AC charger. It's a cleaner install and a simpler parts list.

Where the Blus Star Proves Itself

This isn't a compact inverter for a van conversion. It's a serious power hub for sites that demand robust, continuous AC power:

`Off-grid homes and farms running pumps, compressors, freezers, and household loads

`Telecom base stations where three-phase equipment needs clean, isolated power

`Remote workshops and mine sites with mixed single-phase and three-phase tools

`Backup power for small factories that can't afford a production stoppage

`Solar hybrid systems where the grid is unreliable and fuel for generators is expensive

If you're sizing an inverter for the 10–40kW bracket and you need something that handles unbalanced loads without derating, starts motors without flinching, and gives you full control over battery charging and power priorities, the Blus Star Series is the workhorse that earns its place. It's big, it's configurable, and it doesn't complain when your loads refuse to play fair.
