Project: UPS in Hospital for CT Scanner
Product: Low Frequency Online UPS Model LP33 160KVA with Sealed Lead Acid Batteries 12V 120Ah
Application Area: Asia
A hospital's CT scanner generates high in-rush currents that typical high-frequency UPS units cannot handle, often tripping offline during scan initiation. For this Asian healthcare facility, we deployed the LP33 low frequency online UPS (160KVA) , engineered specifically to support heavy motorized and capacitive loads.
Its galvanically isolated transformer delivers robust overload capacity — up to 150% for 60 seconds — and blocks input harmonics and surges from corrupting sensitive imaging data. The 12V 120Ah sealed lead acid battery bank provides a clean, stable DC bus, ensuring the CT scanner receives pure sine wave output even during severe grid distortion.
Radiologists have reported zero scan interruptions since installation. The hospital's biomedical team particularly values the LP33's cold start capability, which powers up the CT directly from batteries when the utility grid is dead.
In a setting where every minute of downtime can delay patient diagnosis, our solution delivers both electric0al resilience and clinical peace of mind.
