Vietnam’s digital economy is booming, and a colocation data center in Ho Chi Minh City needed to scale power protection without expanding footprint or compromising uptime. OurMS150K modular UPS (150KVA), paired with a480VDC high-voltage lithium-ion battery (100Ah), offered the perfect solution.
The UPS chassis accepts up to six 25KVA power modules, configured N+1 redundant. As the data center adds server racks, operators simply insert another module—no downtime, no rewiring.
The high-voltage lithium battery string connects directly to the UPS DC bus. With 100Ah capacity at 480VDC, the system stores48KWH of usable energy, delivering 15 minutes of full load runtime—enough for orderly shutdown or generator start. Lithium’s fast recharge supports multiple grid sags in a single day.
Compared to a lead-acid baseline, this solution occupies70% less floor spaceand cuts cooling load by 30% due to lower internal resistance. For a competitive colocation provider, that translates directly to more rentable racks and lower PUE.
